Log Orientation

The production capacity of the sawline to be fed determines whether one or two log decks will be used.

In the simplest case it is possible to keep the orientation of the logs. If the lumber sorting plant however requires more flexibility, the logs can either be fed small or large end first.

Log feeding plant:
– Log orientation (180° single curve conveyor)

– Log orientation (90° double curve conveyor)
